I like it but I have a few critiques as well... the drums could use a moderate increase in volume I realize the melody is the main focus but they drums are sooo low. Also I feel like you should add a little spacing between your notes give it some time to breathe. Then again I am sorta growing on it. Not sure how I feel. Anyway good stuff, take those suggestions with a grain of salt as I not exactly the best musician.

Sounds good man, although the first part could use a little EQ or volume reduction. Otherwise a solid piece, I like it.

First I gotta say I'm a huge fan of all your music and I've bought 2 of your albums. I think this is the first song I heard from you and it's what really hooked me on your music. You've got so much creativity and variety in your music! I used this in a slide show for school and everyone was asking who it was! ahhhh I'm just starting out in making music but I just feel hopeless when I look at someone like you who can have so many songs with SO much variety and GOODNESS. Do you think maybe you could check out a song or two of mine and tell me what I need to improve on? Probably DownThere would be the best song to listen to. I don't know why I'm so fond of this

It starts off with a pretty tight drum beat and the mood of the song is really neat at this point. The second beat after he "DUB AFRICA" isn't as great as the first one but I'll let it slide because the beat at like 1:30 is really sweet mixed with that synth. For some reason I really enjoyed this song. Maybe because it's different then the majority of the other songs on Newgrounds. Anyway it was good, keep it up! It was painful to listen to...

but not because it wasn't well composed. Those synths were way too high pitched and bugged the hell out of me. With some drums or some strong bass I think it could be drowned out enough to listen to. But still I recommend you lower the pitch on this and resubmit. I did like the actually music behind it though, reminded me of Donkey Kong.

Thanks for your opinion. I redid the piece with a piano instrumentation - I'd be interested to know if you like that version better.

I really like the melody!

I always have the music going on loop while I review a song. And each time I hear the kick come in I get disappointed because it lacks power. At the same time, I like it how it is, it's very relaxing. I suggest that you add a kick with more pump at least the second time the kick is introduced with the new melody. Overall the melody was great don't need to add anything to that. In my opinion the kick could use some work, although it may not be what you were going for and that's fine. Very nice song. I added it to my favorites! Thanks for reviewing my song. :)
